『AKIRA』Blu-ray Disc版は24bit／192kHzという超広帯域音声データを収録しているらしいのですが、その制作意図がすごく面白かったのでメモ。

●人間は通常20kHz以上の音を聴き取れない（非可聴領域）
●しかし、その非可聴領域である50kHz以上を強調するように音量を上げると、サウンド全体に美しさと快楽性をプラスできる
●これを大橋力氏が『ハイパーソニック・エフェクト』として提唱。可聴帯域を大きく超える高度に複雑な高周波を含む音が、美と快の感覚を生み出し健康力を強める基幹脳ネットワークを活性化させる効果を指す
●この効果はヘッドフォンではなく、スピーカーから音を体に浴びているときに初めて発現するらしい
●この効果を『AKIRA』Blu-ray Disc版に盛り込んだ
●なお、CDは22kHz以上をカットしてしまうので再現不可
