面白かったのは、アマゾンでは少数精鋭にとことんこだわっている、というところ。チームの構成員が6人ぐらいだとコミュニケーションのオーバーヘッドが問題になり、12人ぐらいだとチーム分割を検討する規模と考えているとか。私の場合、今までいろいろな人数のプロジェクトに関わった経験だと、2～3人ぐらいがちょうど快適でした。このサイズだと、個々の責任・権限が大きくなるし、すみずみまで目が届くし、スケジュールも合わせやすいですし、いいことだらけですね。
